Grace Bonsall

West Central Area Representative

Western Central Nebraska

Grace grew up in Kearney and chose to stay close to home to run Track & Field and Cross Country at the University of Nebraska–Kearney, where she was coached by her dad. She studied Social Work and began serving others through roles as a Family Specialist with Compass and later in Care Management at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. While caring for others has always been important to Grace, her greatest desire has been to point people to the true healer–Jesus.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been part of Grace’s life from an early age. Her parents met at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where her mom came to know Christ through FCA. Growing up, Grace attended FCA Distance Camp, a camp her dad helped start in 2007. During her freshman year of college, Grace’s relationship with Jesus became personal when head knowledge turned into heart knowledge. The following year, Christian community and discipleship through FCA at UNK transformed her life and walk with Christ. Grace later interned with FCA, where she was introduced to both local and global FCA ministry. Through this experience, God stirred her heart for the nations and clarified her calling to use the platform of sport to share the truth of the Gospel.

Grace is passionate about helping every coach and every athlete know Jesus and understand their God-given worth, purpose, and identity. She carries a deep heart for the last, the least, and the lost and desires for others to experience the same hope and belonging she found in Christ through FCA.

Grace’s parents and three younger sisters live in Kearney, and her older brother lives in Hawaii. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring outdoors, a great cup of coffee, and spending quality time with the people she loves most.
