Rick grew up in Fremont Nebraska and attended UNO, where he played football. After graduating, Rick married Linda (Schabloske) and joined FCA staff where he served as the Omaha Area Director for 5 years, before moving to Des Moines where ministered with First Federated Church for 4 years. He moved his family back to Lincoln Nebraska where he served 1 year with Mission Nebraska, now Mybridge Radio. After serving as a police officer for 20 years in Lincoln, Rick and Linda sensed God bringing them back to vocational ministry, and joined the West Central Area as Buffalo County Area Reps in 2022.
Rick is passionate about training the next generation of disciple making disciples.
Rick is passionate about the Gospel and loves FCA's commitment to keeping the Gospel central to its mission and vision.
Rick and Linda have been married over 30 years and have three grown children and one grandchild! They love athletic activities and spending time traveling to see their children. Rick has trained in martial arts for 40+ years, and loves staying active.
