God redirected Ryan's life as a teenager while giving him the gifts and desire to serve God through sports. God also opened doors in the college and international basketball world and used lots of people and organizations in Ryan's life, including FCA, to help him grow in his faith.
In November of 2014, God redirected and led Ryan and his wife Angie— along with his four daughters, Moriah, Yirah, Toviah, and Nadiah—to serve him through FCA in the Omaha area.
Ryan enjoys spending time with Angie and their girls. His free time often includes board games, movies, and zoo/other outings. He also loves spending time with family friends/extended family, playing old man basketball, watching basketball, ping pong, hiking in the mountains, bonfires, trying to get a family garden to grow, laughing and helping others realize Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.
